Banquet & Event Set-Up Attendants Prairie Street Brewing Co. is looking for dependable, organized, and hardworking Event Set-Up Attendants to support our weddings, banquets, meetings, and special events. This is a hands-on position responsible for transforming our event spaces according to each event's specific setup. You'll work from event diagrams and instructions to make sure tables, chairs, staging, and other equipment are properly placed and each space is clean and guest-ready. What You'll Be Responsible For Setting up and breaking down tables, chairs, stages, and event equipment Following event diagrams and setup instructions accurately Preparing rooms for weddings, banquets, meetings, and special events Resetting spaces between events when required Ensuring event areas are clean, organized, and guest-ready Assisting with basic audio/visual and event equipment setup as needed Moving and properly storing tables, chairs, equipment, and supplies Keeping event storage areas clean and organized Communicating with Event Coordinators and other departments regarding setup needs or changes Responding quickly to last-minute room or setup adjustments Reporting damaged equipment or maintenance concerns Following proper safety procedures when moving furniture and equipment Assisting with other event-related duties as needed What We're Looking For Dependable, punctual, and able to work with limited supervision Strong attention to detail and ability to follow diagrams and instructions Ability to work efficiently and stay organized Comfortable with a physically active position Ability to lift and move tables, chairs, and equipment weighing 50 lbs. or more Team-oriented and willing to help wherever needed Previous banquet, event setup, hospitality, or related experience preferred, but not required Must be 18 years of age or older Availability for days, evenings, weekends, and holidays as events require Why Prairie Street Brewing Co.? $16.00/hour Flexible part-time and on-call scheduling Employee discounts Opportunity to work with weddings, corporate events, and large special events Historic riverfront workplace in downtown Rockford If you are dependable, enjoy hands-on work, and take pride in seeing a space come together for an event, we want to hear from you.
