Position Details:
The Scott College of Business at Indiana State University invites applications for a Marketing Coordinator. This position develops and coordinates marketing and communication efforts that enhance the college's visibility, strengthen connections with key audiences, and support student recruitment, engagement, and alumni relations. The Marketing Coordinator promotes the college's academic programs, events, students, alumni, faculty, and accomplishments through email, social media, websites, print materials, and other communication channels. Responsibilities include managing routine college communications, maintaining a communication calendar, developing stories and promotional content, coordinating print and digital marketing materials, supporting undergraduate and graduate recruitment communications, and creating communications that encourage student participation and engagement. The coordinator also develops alumni communications, highlights alumni accomplishments, and supports outreach efforts that strengthen alumni connections with the college. This position works closely with faculty, staff, students, alumni, and university partners to identify and develop meaningful content. The Marketing Coordinator collaborates with University Marketing and Communications to ensure alignment with university branding, communication standards, and institutional priorities. The coordinator independently manages multiple projects and competing deadlines, determines the appropriate content, format, communication channel, and timing for routine communications, and monitors engagement and campaign results to help guide future efforts. The successful candidate will be a creative and effective communicator who can manage multiple priorities, exercise sound professional judgment, build collaborative relationships, and translate information into clear and engaging content for a variety of audiences. The Marketing Coordinator reports to the Assistant Dean of the Scott College of Business and has no direct reports.
Required Qualifications:
Qualified candidates must have a minimum of a bachelor's degree in marketing, advertising, public relations, communication, graphic design, or related area.

Job Summary:
Works with the Deans' Office in the Scott College of Business to develop a marketing plan, prepare and deliver communications, develop College marketing materials, and manage social media; assist the College's efforts in recruitment and retention of faculty, staff, and students. Collaborates with University Enrollment Management, University Marketing, and University Admissions; supports efforts to reach out to and remain connected with alumni and donors; facilitates greater communication internally within the college (among faculty, staff, and students).
