Duties We staff conventions, conferences, sporting events, festivals, corporate meetings, and special events year-round. Most positions are part-time, temporary, and event-based, with opportunities for repeat work and advancement into leadership roles. Welcome guests warmly and provide exceptional customer service throughout their event experience Assist with event services such as checking in and credentials Manage guest inquiries, resolve conflicts promptly, and ensure safety protocols are followed at all times Support event registration processes using POS (Point of Sale) systems and process transactions accurately Coordinate with event staff to ensure smooth operations, including managing crowd flow and addressing guest needs if needed Uphold hospitality standards by delivering friendly service and creating a welcoming atmosphere for all guests Join us to deliver unforgettable experiences at major conventions! Experience Proven experience in events management or hospitality roles, customer and/or guest services Background in retail sales or food service to support guest interactions and transactions Familiarity with POS systems, data entry, or monetary transactions Experience in conflict management, public speaking, or customer service roles that require clear communication skills Knowledge of safety protocols; safety training preferred Ability to perform manual handling tasks such as heavy lifting safely and efficiently Comfortable working in standing-only positions in various guest service environments
