The Role We are looking for a Health Promotion Coordinator to support programs that encourage healthy lifestyles, improve community engagement, and increase awareness of health and wellbeing resources. You'll help plan and coordinate health promotion activities, work with community and organisational partners, support educational initiatives, and track program activity and outcomes. This role suits someone who is organised, comfortable working with different groups, and interested in creating practical health and wellness programs. Where You'll Make an ImpactProgram Coordination Coordinate health promotion programs, workshops, outreach activities, and educational events. Assist with planning program schedules, materials, communications, and operational requirements. Work with internal teams and external partners to deliver activities effectively. Maintain program calendars, records, and supporting documentation. Help ensure activities are delivered in line with established procedures and objectives. Community Engagement Build positive working relationships with community organisations, schools, employers, and partner agencies. Support outreach activities designed to improve participation and awareness. Respond to general questions about available programs and health resources. Help identify community needs and opportunities for future initiatives. Promote programs through appropriate communication and engagement channels. Education & Communications Prepare presentations, educational materials, newsletters, flyers, and digital content. Support health awareness campaigns covering topics such as physical activity, nutrition, wellbeing, prevention, and healthy living. Coordinate workshops and informational sessions with relevant professionals and speakers. Ensure materials are clear, accurate, accessible, and appropriate for the intended audience. Reporting & Improvement Track participation, engagement, feedback, and other program measures. Maintain accurate records and prepare routine reports for program leadership. Gather feedback from participants and partners to identify areas for improvement. Support evaluation activities and contribute to program reviews. Recommend practical improvements to increase participation and program effectiveness. What You'll Bring Bachelor's degree in Public Health, Health Promotion, Community Health, Health Education, Communications, or a related field is preferred. Experience in health promotion, community programs, wellness initiatives, education, outreach, or program coordination. Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple activities and deadlines. Good written and verbal communication skills. Comfortable preparing presentations, educational materials, and basic reports. Ability to work effectively with community members, partner organisations, and internal teams. Strong interpersonal skills and a professional approach to community engagement. Confidence using Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, or similar workplace tools. Ability to maintain accurate records and handle information responsibly. Experience with community outreach, event coordination, or health education is desirable. Knowledge of health promotion principles, community engagement, and program evaluation is an advantage. Ability to work occasional evenings or weekends for scheduled events when required. Authorization to work in the United States without current or future employer sponsorship.
