An Advertising and Marketing Sales Assistant provides administrative support to sales teams and assists with sales of advertising and marketing services to business clients. Advertising and marketing may incorporate different media including print, text and online listings and services and may be targeted to a specific geographic area.
Entry-level marketing and sales assistant for small independent gallery. Position would not start until Mid September due to gallery renovations. Qualifications:
COMPUTER SKILLS ARE A MUST
(proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Adobe Acrobat, WIX web editor, etc.) Comfortable navigating Mac computer and Apple products Experience working with people/customer service Associates or Bachelors Degree strongly favored Sales experience Ability to multi-task and effectively handle demands Ability to talk to new costumers Ability to lift gallery paintings, frames, etc. Good understanding of all social media platforms Graphic design, video editing, website skills a plus
Responsibilities:
Manage all social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, YouTube) Email campaigns, follow up with clients regularly (Constant Contact) Administrative duties (filing, invoicing, regularly update client/contact list) Update website contents and design Strong knowledge of gallery's artists (study when you start) Handle cash register and credit card payments Art sales, commission pay included Key holder - Open and Closer Communication strategies that optimize customer needs within the business, managing the progress and frequency of marketing of our email, events, website, etc. Event planning and management, press releases The ideal candidate loves to talk to people, is excited, generous and overall has a bubbly attitude. Comfortable learning about the contemporary art we showcase. Art is fun and creative, we want our gallery to reflect that. It is great to show any marketing or sales experience. Must be comfortable navigating Mac OS, and needs basic social media marketing experience (Facebook, Instagram, Pinterest, Constant Contact). Sales environment(s): Mall Retail store
