The Marketing Coordinator supports the planning, coordination, execution, and measurement of UMCU's marketing initiatives across digital, traditional, promotional, content, and experiential channels. This role works closely with the Marketing team and cross-functional partners to help bring campaigns, promotions, events, and member communications to market effectively and efficiently. Serves as a flexible resource across the Marketing function, supporting evolving business priorities and helping manage projects from planning through execution. Responsibilities may include campaign coordination, digital marketing support, content and asset management, reporting, event activation, vendor coordination, promotional inventory, and other marketing initiatives. What You'll Be Doing:
Supports the planning, development, execution, and optimization of integrated marketing campaigns, product promotions, and initiatives aligned with UMCU's strategic and business objectives. Coordinates marketing projects and deliverables across digital, email, social media, website, paid media, print, events, promotions, and other channels as needed. Works with internal stakeholders and external partners to gather requirements, coordinate timelines, manage deliverables, and support the successful execution of marketing initiatives. Assists with campaign development and implementation, including audience coordination, product features, creative assets, messaging, landing pages, promotional materials, and channel execution. Maintains and organizes files and campaign materials for ease of execution and distribution. Supports digital marketing activities, including website updates, email marketing, social media, digital advertising, and campaign tracking. Assists with marketing performance reporting by gathering, organizing, and analyzing campaign, digital, promotional, and event data to identify trends, results, and opportunities for improvement. Supports the development, organization, and maintenance of marketing content and creative assets to ensure materials are current, accessible, and consistent with UMCU brand standards. Coordinates and attends marketing and brand events, sponsorship activations, and community initiatives, including communication with event partners and volunteers, logistics, promotional materials, signage, and other activation needs. Coordinates promotional merchandise and marketing materials, including maintaining appropriate inventory levels, supporting ordering, organizing distribution, and identifying future needs. Assists with sponsorships, contracts, invoices, purchase orders, and other administrative activities associated with marketing programs and external partnerships. Coordinates with agencies, vendors, freelancers, printers, media partners, and other external resources to support marketing projects and ensure deliverables are completed accurately and on time. Maintains and updates internal marketing calendars, project management systems, communication platforms, campaign documentation, and other tools used to coordinate Marketing activities. Collaborates with departments throughout UMCU to support product launches, product promotions, member communications, organizational initiatives, and other business priorities. Helps ensure marketing materials and activities are accurate, consistent with UMCU brand standards, and compliant with applicable regulatory requirements, policies, and procedures. Represents UMCU at community, partnership, sponsorship, and organizational events as needed. Maintains knowledge of and follows all Credit Union policies and procedures regarding
BSA, OFAC, U.S.
Patriot Act, Anti-Money Laundering, S.A.F.E. Act, CFPB regulations, Customer Identification Program, and other applicable requirements. Performs other marketing, promotional, digital, administrative, or organizational responsibilities as assigned based on evolving business needs and priorities.
What You'll Need:
Bachelor's degree (or in pursuit of) in Marketing, Writing, Social Media or related field preferred. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, Excel, and Apple interface Ability to analyze data and prepare reports Strong interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills Strong customer/member service skills Adobe suite experience preferred Ability to leverage AI and emerging technologies to enhance productivity, creativity, and marketing effectiveness
PHYSICAL DEMANDS/WORK ENVIRONMENT
The environment is typical of an office atmosphere. The noise level in the environment is usually moderate. While performing the duties of this job, the team member is frequently required to sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; and talk or hear. The team member is required to stand, walk, and reach with hands and arms. The team member must occasionally lift and/or move up to 20 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision.
