Meijer offers an 11-week internship program that challenges interns to deliver innovative solutions to real projects that impact the business. Throughout the course of the internship experience, we deliver diverse personal and professional development opportunities that further develop skillsets that can be implemented both during and after the program. The internship program will allow for interaction with other interns and Meijer senior leaders.

Challenging and impactful projects Final presentations delivered to senior executives Executive speaker series Professional development and training opportunities Networking and community events Events highlighting key areas of the business What you will be doing as aCommunity Partnerships and Giving Intern :
Interns in this area will gain hands-on exposure to Meijer's sponsorship partnerships, promotional campaigns, corporate giving initiatives, and philanthropic programs. Throughout the internship, participants will be assigned a meaningful project that emphasizes strategic planning, execution, and measurable results while providing visibility to cross-functional collaboration and business impact. Representative projects completed by previous Community Partnerships and Giving interns include: Gain exposure to partnership negotiations, sponsorship contract administration, and activation execution across a diverse portfolio of partners. Participate in on-site partnership and market visits to gain hands-on experience with activation execution, program evaluation, and partner engagement. Support the execution of seasonal Back-to-College and Tailgating initiatives, providing visibility into partnership marketing, promotional strategy, and customer engagement efforts. Assist in managing vendor-supported sponsorships and community investment opportunities that strengthen local engagement and impact. Research opportunities to increase sponsorship in key sports categories and/or geographies. Develop a playbook to drive community sponsorship opportunities, particularly around hunger relief, with key sports partners. Recommend opportunities to maximize participation and reach of company's signature giving program, Simply Give. The intern may also get exposure to other activities of the function, including:Marketing Merchandising Legal Internal and External Communications Operations Logistics Qualifications :
Progressing toward a bachelor's degree in Marketing, Event/Experiential Marketing, Communications, Corporate Philanthropy, or a related field Proficiency inMicrosoft Office Applications:
