RiteSpice Kitchen is a local small business serving South Asian fusion cuisine, with a focus on organic and locally sourced ingredients. We work out of a commercial kitchen in downtown Ypsilanti and bring our food to the community through pop-ups, festivals, markets, and events throughout the area. U-M NORTH CAMPUS EVENT HELP

Weekly — Tuesdays or Fridays Join us for our weekly pop-up at Pierpont Commons as part of U-M's Local Flavors program. Having a car is helpful and preferred, but if you do not please let us know.

OCCASIONAL EVENT HELP

Weekends + weekdays (on case by case basis) Help us at local festivals, farmers markets, community events, and other pop-ups throughout the area. Having a car is especially helpful for those who would like to eventually run events independently. If not, you may still be able to work with us for larger events. For both roles, you'll help with: Serving food and providing great customer service Setting up before events and cleaning up afterward Keeping events organized and running smoothly Representing RiteSpice Kitchen with a positive attitude We're looking for someone who is: Detail-oriented and dependable Great with customers A positive team player Able to lift and carry medium/heavy items Event work may include meeting at our Ypsilanti kitchen to pick up supplies, driving to the event, setting up and serving, returning supplies to the kitchen afterward and cleaning up.
