An Advertising and Marketing Coordinator develops advertising and marketing sales strategies and coordinates materials needed for advertising and marketing sales. Coordinates communication with clients. May plan and create advertising or marketing materials including digital content.
AlphaCare is seeking a creative, organized, and motivated Marketing Coordinator to help grow our brand, engage our communities, and support marketing initiatives across our urgent care and wellness clinics. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys creating content, building relationships, and bringing ideas to life. You'll work closely with the Marketing Director to execute campaigns, promote healthcare services, support community outreach, and contribute to the growth of our Urgent Care, Wellness, Occupational Health, and ShiftCare services throughout our markets.
Key Responsibilities:
Create engaging content for Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, and other digital platforms. Design graphics, flyers, signage, presentations, and promotional materials using Canva or Adobe Creative Suite. Capture and edit photos and short-form videos (Reels, Stories, TikToks, provider videos, and community events). Schedule and manage social media content while monitoring engagement and responding to messages when appropriate. Assist with email marketing, text marketing, and marketing automation. Support seasonal marketing initiatives including flu season, sports physicals, wellness services, allergy season, and other timely healthcare campaigns. Assist in growing AlphaCare's Occupational Health and ShiftCare programs through employer outreach, marketing campaigns, networking opportunities, and community partnerships. Coordinate community outreach, sponsorships, health fairs, and local partnerships throughout the Hattiesburg area. Visit clinic locations to gather content, highlight team members, and showcase patient experiences and services. Assist with website updates, online listings, and reputation management. Track marketing performance, campaign effectiveness, and key performance indicators. Maintain AlphaCare's brand standards across all marketing materials. Stay current on social media trends, AI tools, and emerging marketing strategies.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field (or equivalent experience). Strong understanding of Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, and other social media platforms. Experience with Canva or Adobe Creative Suite preferred. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail. Self-motivated with the ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment. Comfortable working independently while collaborating with multiple clinic locations. Valid driver's license and willingness to travel locally for clinic visits and community events. Healthcare marketing experience is a plus but not required.
