PERSON ROLE
The Longshot | Kalispell, Montana We're seeking a creative, outgoing, and motivated Social Media Marketing Coordinator to own The Longshot's entire social media presence. In this role, you'll develop and execute our social strategy, create engaging content, grow our local audience, and promote events and specials—driving awareness, attracting new customers, and increasing reservations across every platform. The Longshot is Kalispell's newest go-to destination: a stylish cocktail lounge, top-tier indoor golf simulators, elevated comfort food, and casino energy all under one roof in the Flathead Valley. Think cozy dark greens and gold, perfectly poured drinks, bison sliders, and a vibe that keeps people lingering. As our Social Media Marketing Coordinator, you'll be the voice and visual storyteller who captures that energy—showcasing the nights out, the perfect swings, the shared plates, and the local hangout everyone wants to be part of.   • Create, capture, and manage engaging social media content featuring the golf simulators, lounge, casino, customers, staff, events, and promotions.
  • Effectively use all social media platforms such as Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, YouTube, LinkedIn, X, etc. with best content practices.
  • Learn and engage new platforms as they are identified on the market.
  • Create high-quality assets for campaigns by taking photos and short-form videos using a smartphone.
  • Attend events to capture before, during, and 'live' content.
  • Edit and develop Instagram Reels, TikToks, Facebook Stories/Posts, YouTube videos, and other promotional content.
  • Develop weekly content ideas and maintain a consistent posting schedule.
  • Maintain a consistent brand and voice across all platforms.
  • Contribute along with Management Team the direction of the brand.
  • Promote food/drink specials, leagues, tournaments, seasonal and group events.
  • Encourage customers to tag, follow, and share on media platforms.
  • Respond to media comments and messages in a timely and professional manner.
  • Track engagement, reach, followers, and bookings generated through social media.
  • Report social media metrics for performance, and growth.
  • Identify new trends and capitalize on creative ways to stand out to sell The Longshot experience.
  • Identify opportunities to partner with local businesses, community members, and social media groups.
  • Provide feedback from social media to Management Team.
  • Collaborate with Management Team on brand goals for consistency and actions.
  • Other marketing tasks as asked by Management Team. Key Qualifications & Skills
  • Highly active and strong knowledge of all social media platforms.
  • Has a creative and detailed imagination.
  • Proven experience in social media management or digital marketing roles with a strong understanding of social media platforms' algorithms and best practices.
  • Familiarity with photo, video editing tools for attractive and engaging content.
  • Understands the local area and how to foster successful campaigns.
  • Knowledge of SEO principles, keyword research techniques, and web analytics tools including Google Analytics.
  • Comfortable socializing with staff, customers to show off the fun atmosphere.
  • Experience with representing a hospitality and entertainment business.
  • Ability to identify target audiences and focus content appropriately.
  • Effective use of technology to create original content, including AI.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Initiation of ideas, concepts, and campaigns proactively with team.
  • Strong photography and short-form video skills.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating with management and staff. A proactive attitude with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Education & Experience
  • Social media and marketing experience.
  • Photography/video experience.
  • Currently Studying or Degree in Communications, Marketing, Digital Media - preferred.
  • Valid drivers license and own reliable transportation. Schedule & Compensation
  • Monday through Friday (Full-time 40 hours),
  • In person attendance is expected.
  • Ability to work some evenings, weekends, and special events.
  • Competitive hourly compensation based on experience.
