Job Summary:

Our Local Marketing Coordinator is the voice of Pet Lodge in our community. You will create the social content that shows off our dogs and our team, build partnerships with local businesses and rescues, and run the events that bring pet parents through our doors. This is a hands-on, onsite role for someone who likes being in the building with the dogs, not just behind a laptop.

Essential functions and responsibilities:

Social media content Plan and publish content across Instagram, Facebook and TikTok, including photos, short video and stories Capture content on site several times a week, working around the dogs and the team Write captions in our brand voice and respond to comments and direct messages Track what performs and adjust the content plan each month Events and local partnerships Plan and run local events such as adoption days, vendor markets, community fundraisers and open houses Build relationships with nearby vets, groomers, rescues, apartment communities, breweries and retailers to drive referrals Manage event logistics end to end, including permits, supplies, signage, staffing and follow up Represent Pet Lodge at community events In club moments Support seasonal and themed activations in club, such as foam parties, Christmas photos, birthday clubs and holiday themes Coordinate with the club team on scheduling, supplies and promotion so activations run smoothly and get captured well Help promote activations in advance and share the results afterward Print materials and swag Order and manage inventory of print materials such as flyers, rack cards, posters, signage and event collateral Source and order branded swag for staff, clients and events, including leashes, bandanas, apparel and giveaways Work with approved vendors on quotes, proofs, lead times and delivery Keep spend within budget and make sure everything follows brand standards Other duties Please note this job description is not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive listing of activities, duties or responsibilities required of the team member for this job. Qualifications:

1 to 3 years in marketing, social media, events or community engagement Comfort with editing tools such as CapCut or Canva Experience in pet care, hospitality, fitness, retail or another local service business Experience working with print or promotional product vendors Existing relationships in the local pet or small business community Experience creating social media content, whether for a business, a side project or your own following An amazing personality, the kind that makes strangers at an event want to stop and talk to you Genuine comfort and love for pets, and ease around dogs of all sizes and temperaments

Physical Requirements:

Pet Lodge Team Members routinely perform the following physical demands. All Pet Lodge Team Members are expected to perform these physical requirements with or without reasonable accommodation. Stand and/or walk for up to 6 hours without a break. Kneel, bend, squat, and twist their body. Repetitive hand and arm movement; reach, grab, pull, and push objects. Perform duties in an environment with loud sounds from animals and smells from pet waste and cleaning chemicals. Perform work both indoors and outdoors; experiencing temperature changes according to season, building heating and cooling, and weather. Lift up to 50lbs with or without assistance.
