Off the Wall Advertising, a dynamic regional advertising agency, is seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Sales Intern. Based in Fargo, this role is perfect for a college student eager to develop their sales and marketing skills in a real-world environment. The ideal candidate will be outgoing and ready to engage directly with local businesses, selling advertising solutions while gaining invaluable experience in the industry.

Responsibilities:

Explore the role of a marketing consultant and the intricacies of the advertising industry. Engage with potential clients to uncover their needs and identify sales opportunities through questioning and analysis. Analyze marketing and sales data to inform strategies and improve outcomes. Develop and prepare presentations tailored for prospective clients. Initiate contact with local business leaders through cold calls and other outreach methods. Assist in the creation and execution of strategic advertising/marketing plans that meet the specific needs of each client. Manage and service existing accounts while prospecting new opportunities in the Bismarck area. Collaborate with team members to brainstorm and plan effective campaigns and creative messaging for clients. Maintain monthly reports on sales progress against goals and objectives. Participate in occasional day travel for client meetings and industry events.

Work Schedule:

16-24 hours per week.

half-days or full days, depending on academic commitments and company needs.

Requirements:

Current enrollment in a college degree program related to Business, Marketing, Sales, or a similar field. Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a natural flair for engaging with others. Basic understanding of marketing principles and a keen interest in the advertising industry. Ability to work effectively in a team environment and contribute to team goals. Proactive, eager to learn, and ready to take on new challenges. Reliable and committed to the internship schedule and responsibilities.
