Communications Coordinator - Marketing

Job Description

Overview The Communications Coordinator supports hospital communications initiatives. The role supports hospital communications through content development, messaging, and coordination of materials for internal and external audiences, to advance organizational priorities. Responsibilities Supports hospital communications initiatives that advance organizational priorities and strengthen awareness of programs, services, events, philanthropic opportunities and key messages. Drafts, coordinates, and distributes internal and external communications that support hospital initiatives, community engagement, donor relations, and philanthropic efforts across a variety of print, digital, and multimedia platforms. Supports development of promotional and informational materials, including coordination of content and support for graphic design needs related to hospital events and initiatives. Coordinates the collection of patient, donor, volunteer, and community stories that highlight organizational impact and support communications, stewardship, and fundraising efforts. Supports the preparation of annual reports, impact reports, campaign updates, donor recognition materials, and other publications that communicate organizational achievements and philanthropic impact. Helps ensure communications are timely, accurate, and aligned with hospital and the Dartmouth Health brand standards, messaging priorities, and organizational voice. Assists with maintaining communication calendars, content libraries and related communication resources. Supports the planning, coordination, and maintenance of internal and external signage, including wayfinding, patient-facing materials, event signage, and other visual communications that enhance the patient and visitor experience.

Qualifications Qualifications:
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams and stakeholders. Strong organizational and project management skills. Demonstrated experience with writing and editing communications.
Education:
Associates degree or the equivalent. Bachelor degree preferred in a related field or equivalent experience.
Experience:
Experience in a healthcare or non-profit setting preferred.
Area of Interest:
Professional/Management Pay Range:
$44,075.20/Yr.
