Job Description

The Multimedia Designer & Marketing Coordinator is responsible for creating visually compelling and strategically effective digital and print marketing materials that align with the association's brand and goals. This role plays a critical part in enhancing brand awareness, driving member engagement, and supporting recruitment and retention efforts through innovative design and multimedia production.
Primary Responsibilities:
Design and Content Creation Create high-impact print and digital marketing materials, including brochures, social media graphics, event promotions, email templates, and website assets. Design and produce multimedia content such as videos, animations, and interactive media to support marketing campaigns and events. Ensure consistency of brand identity across all visual communications and maintain brand standards. Prioritize and manage multiple design projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines and maintaining high design standards. Marketing Collaborate with teams to develop creative content for social media platforms and website updates. Partner with internal stakeholders to conceptualize and execute integrated marketing campaigns. Design visually engaging email campaigns and event invitations using platforms like Constant Contact or similar tools. Programs Assist in planning, coordinating, and managing association programs and events, including on-site support and logistics management. Support in marketing, managing and administering virtual and in-person courses. Develop on-site event materials such as signage, programs, and presentation visuals. Utilize event management platforms, preferably Cvent, to manage event registrations, communications, and reporting. General Serve as staff liaison to councils and committees as assigned. Answer phone calls as needed. Ability to work a flexible schedule when necessary. Additional duties as assigned. Qualifications The items below are representative of the knowledge, skills, abilities, and experience required or preferred. This position requires the ability to effectively establish and maintain cooperative working relationships within a diverse multicultural environment. Knowledge and Skills Bachelor's degree in graphic design, multimedia design, marketing, or related field, or equivalent work experience. Minimum of three years of experience in graphic design, multimedia production, marketing, and event management. Expertise in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Premiere Pro, After Effects) and other relevant design software. Strong understanding of social media platforms and content best practices. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and familiarity with email marketing platforms like Constant Contact and event management tools like Cvent. Experience in video editing, motion graphics, and multimedia production. Exceptional creativity, attention to detail, and time management skills. Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and manage multiple priorities effectively. Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, with a customer-focused mindset. Experience working in an association, nonprofit, or similar environment. Knowledge of web design principles of the Sitecore Experience hosted on Microsoft Azure and CMS platforms like WordPress. Understanding of SEO and digital marketing analytics tools.
