Job Description
Not every workday should look the same. One weekend you might be serving dinner at a beautiful wedding. The next, you're setting tables and centerpieces for a corporate event. Another day could mean helping with a private party, company outing, luncheon, or community event. As a Caterer / Event Team Member with Village Catering Company , you'll be part of the team that brings events to life. We're looking for personable, dependable, hard-working people who enjoy staying busy, working with others, and creating a great experience for our clients and their guests. Experience is helpful, but attitude, reliability, and willingness to learn matter more.
What You'll Do:
Our Catering Team Members help with all aspects of executing successful events, including: Cater weddings, private parties, company outings, luncheons, corporate events, and other special occasions Set up event spaces before guests arrive Place linens and prepare guest tables Set place settings, including forks, knives, spoons, napkins, glassware, and other items Create and place centerpieces and table décor Help decorate event spaces according to the client's plans Set up buffet lines, food stations, beverage areas, and service spaces Serve food and beverages with a friendly, professional attitude Assist guests and respond to client needs throughout an event Clear tables and maintain clean, attractive guest areas during service Break down and clean event spaces following events Pack, organize, and properly return catering equipment and supplies Work alongside other team members to get the job done efficiently Leave every space better than we found it!
