Role:
BBSI is hiring on behalf of our client for a temporary, part-time Assistant to the Director position. This role will provide administrative and operational support to the Executive Director, assisting with event planning, communications, marketing efforts, and day-to-day office tasks. The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented, comfortable using technology, and has experience with communication, social media, or coordinating projects.
Responsibilities:
Assist with planning and coordinating events and promotional activities. Support committees with work plans, budgets, and communications. Manage administrative tasks, newsletters, partner tracking, and surveys. Assist with advertising, email campaigns, and social media efforts. Support volunteer coordination and provide occasional public representation. Provide general administrative support to ensure smooth daily operations.
Qualifications:
Strong communication, writing, and organizational skills. Proficiency with Google Suite, Microsoft Office, Canva/Adobe, and social media platforms. Experience with event planning, nonprofit organizations, marketing, or social media management preferred. Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and collaborate with a variety of personalities. Flexible, detail-oriented, and dependable.
Physical Requirements:
Primarily sedentary office work. Event support may require standing, walking, and lifting up to 20 lbs. INDSO
