Event Company Sales

Jovial Events is seeking a part-time sales, on-call and marketing rep to join our team! You will be responsible for expanding the company's business and brand identity providing excellent customer service to prospective and future clients. Preferred hours in office Monday and Friday for 5 hours between 8:30 am-3:30 p.m www.jovialeventsca.com

Responsibilities:

Respond to client inquiries promptly on various platforms (yelp, google, honeybook) Build balloon bouquets for pickup at location Communicate changes and client desires to staff and owners Follow up with leads that come in after work during working hours Collaborate with other sales rep to ensure all clients are followed up with Create systems that make the booking process easier Cold call potential clients and corporations Establish new relationships with surrounding companies Resolve client inquiries and complaints Present and sell balloon/rental/service options Develop and calculate suitable plans based on clients' needs Expand business reach through networking events Learn balloon and rental equipment terms Track and identify areas of improvement Meet designated sales by customizing marketing strategies to sell balloons/rentals/event services to businesses or individuals Conducting market research to determine a target audience's needs, wants, habits, interests and other relevant factors used in creating targeted marketing events. Researching previous successful campaigns to understand what worked, what didn't, and what can be improved. Reviewing the progress and success of an event, making adjustments or pitching ideas for new events as necessary

Qualifications:

Previous experience in sales, event planning, customer service, or other related fields Ability to build rapport with clients Strong negotiation skills Excellent written and verbal communication skills Ability to prioritize and multitask

$20 per hour, $22 per hour If able to multi-task balloon inflation, phones, and sales
