Hospitality & Events Associate — Part-Time Auburn Angel Atlanta, GA Job Details Part-time | Contract $15 - $35 an hour 17 hours ago Benefits Employee discount Flexible schedule Qualifications Some college Computer operation Calendar management Venue guest services Event customer service Full Job Description Hospitality & Events Associate — Part-Time Auburn Angel Job Overview Auburn Angel is looking for a dependable, personable, organized team member to help with guest service and the administrative side of our business—especially responding to event and catering leads and helping turn inquiries into bookings. This role combines serving or bar shifts with administrative and event support. We anticipate approximately 2-3 shifts per week , including Friday evenings and Saturday brunch, with administrative hours arranged around availability and business needs. You could be a server or bartender interested in events and operations, or a chef, cook, or kitchen manager looking to gain front-of-house experience and move toward management . The role could also suit someone balancing college or a second job. We want someone who will become an important part of the organization, contribute ideas, and take advantage of opportunities to grow with the business. Responsibilities Provide friendly, attentive service during serving or bar shifts. Respond promptly and professionally to event and catering inquiries. Follow up with prospective clients, track leads, and help secure bookings. Organize event details and communicate client needs to the team. Assist with general administrative tasks and event coordination. Take initiative to improve the guest experience and help the business grow. Qualifications Some food and beverage experience, whether in the kitchen, dining room, bar, or catering. Strong communication skills, including clear, professional emails. Good organization and follow-through. Comfort using email, calendars, and basic computer tools. Availability for approximately 2-3 shifts per week, including Friday evenings and Saturday brunch. An interest in events, hospitality operations, or management. You don't need experience in every part of the role. We value those with a heart for service, good work ethic, reliability, sound judgment, and a willingness to learn. Compensation & Growth Server shifts: $3/hour plus tips. Typical shifts range from $30-$250 in tips. A skilled server will earn the higher end of this range or more. If you think you have the personality and heart for service, we would love to meet you.
Administrative work:
Separately compensated, with terms negotiable based on experience and availability. Our preferred arrangement includes bonuses for event and catering bookings that close. We have a lot of booking requests, event programming, and opportunities to be creative. Opportunities to take on additional responsibility in events, operations, and management as the business and your role develop.
