Job Description

Conservation Voters Movement Events & Operations Intern LCV is seeking a Conservation Voters Movement (CVM) Events & Operations Intern to support the State Capacity Building Coordinator and Director in working with LCV's 30+ state affiliates to plan and implement the network-wide annual conference and further develop CVM and State Capacity Building events and operations systems. The intern will support state affiliates and the conference planning team with attendee assistance, event coordination and communication, administrative support, and collecting resources for network-wide platforms, including onsite event support at the conference in Salt Lake City the week of May 17-21. The role also supports co-creating and facilitating online and in-person gatherings as part of the conference program. This is a Regular Remote Work position (remote full-time except onsite conference week), running up to 22 weeks from January 19, 2027 to June 17, 2027, 20-30 hours/week (40 hours/week May 3-28), at $18.40/hour. The intern will join a Spring 2027 internship cohort with development opportunities including a Capstone project and organization-wide training. Candidates should have experience supporting event coordination and planning; be highly organized with strong attention to detail, communication, and research skills; be self-starters able to work independently and in teams; and be proficient in Microsoft Office and Google Suite. Demonstrated commitment to racial justice and equity is expected. Applicants must be located in and legally authorized to work in the United States, and must reside in Salt Lake City, Utah.
