Job Summary The Marketing and Communications Coordinator is a hands-on leader responsible for executing and managing all external marketing, communications, and public relations efforts for Big Brothers Big Sisters of Palm Beach and Martin Counties. This is a department-of-one role best suited for a creative, strategic, and highly organized professional who can both develop strategy and personally execute deliverables. The Manager works closely with the CEO and Development team to grow brand awareness, increase volunteer recruitment, strengthen donor engagement, and position the agency as the premier youth mentoring organization in Palm Beach and Martin Counties. Duties Develop and implement an annual marketing and communications plan aligned with agency strategic priorities. Contribute to short and long-term organizational strategic planning. Establish measurable KPIs and provide quarterly reports on marketing performance. Develop and manage the marketing budget. Maintain alignment with Big Brothers Big Sisters of America brand standards and national campaigns. Manage relationships with external vendors including PR, graphic designers, photographers/videographers. Create and execute multi-channel campaigns to support: Volunteer recruitment, Donor acquisition and retention, Event promotion, and Community awareness Partner closely with the Development team to support fundraising initiatives and donor communications. Collaborate with program staff to capture impact stories and elevate stories of Bigs, Littles, families, alumni, and partners. Support year-end giving and other major fundraising campaigns. Design and produce agency marketing materials including social media, flyers, etc.: Develop standardized brand templates for internal consistency. Procure and manage promotional materials and branded items. Develop and manage social media content calendar. Create and distribute e-newsletters. Track engagement metrics and optimize performance. Grow digital audience reach and engagement Supervise Communications intern as needed. Other duties as assigned Education and Related Experience Bachelor's degree in marketing, Communications, Public Relations, or related field (or equivalent experience). Skills and Knowledge Thrive in a dynamic environment, be open to new ideas, and have the ability to analyze a variety of media for effective communications. Excellent written, verbal, and visual story telling skills. Possess superb organizational and time management abilities. Demonstrate an ability to work independently and as a self-starter in a team-oriented environment and work congenially with staff, Board members, donors, volunteers, youth, and others. Demonstrate an ability to organize complex materials, manage more than one project at a time, and communicate comfortably in a professional setting. Must work with a high degree of flexibility, accuracy, and attention to detail in a fast-paced environment with numerous deadlines and pressures. Be genuine in commitment to the fulfillment of the agency mission. Proficiency in project management tools, graphic design, and platforms like Canva, Mailchimp, Adobe Creative Suite, or related tools is a plus. Proficiency in technical areas such as Microsoft Office (SharePoint, Word, Outlook, Teams), Excel, and Salesforce.
