The Marketing Coordinator must be an exceptional writerwith a keen eye for detail and the ability to translate complex subject matter into clear, compelling, and accessible content for a variety of audiences. This is an opportunity for a highly organized and proactive individual to help tell the stories behind our attorneys, cases, victories, and commitment to our clients and community. Our 24-lawyer firm represents individuals, businesses, and organizations in matters ranging from individual disputes to impact litigation that advances systemic change. Grounded in a deep commitment to community and social responsibility, we bring the same dedication to exceptional advocacy to every matter we handle. A significant portion of our practice is devoted to representing plaintiffs in civil rights cases, in areas such as disability rights, housing discrimination, and police misconduct. We also maintain nationally-recognized practices in criminal defense, commercial litigation, and personal injury. Responsibilities Develop and execute exceptional written content for the firm's website, social media channels, internal and external newsletters, and other communications. Draft and edit attorney biographies, case updates, blog posts, announcements, award submissions, and other marketing materials. Manage and maintain the firm's social media calendar and coordinate content across platforms. Track media coverage involving the firm, its attorneys, and its cases. Assist with press releases and responses to media inquiries. Support the firm's business development initiatives, including attorney presentations, award nominations, and marketing campaigns. Assist with planning and promoting internal and external firm events, client events, CLE programs, and community activities. Assist attorneys with materials for speaking engagements, conferences, and other business development opportunities. Miscellaneous administrative & strategic support as needed. Qualifications The ideal candidate will have: A bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, public relations, journalism, or a related field. 2-4 years of experience in marketing, communications, public relations; experience in legal marketing preferred. Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills. Strong understanding of social media platforms and digital communications. Excellent organizational and project-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple deadlines simultaneously. Strong attention to detail and a high level of professionalism. Creativity, initiative, and the ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with the Marketing Director, attorneys, and staff. Familiarity with website content management systems and email marketing platforms and similar tools is a plus. An interest in law, civil rights, public interest advocacy, or social justice is strongly preferred. Salary Range and Benefits The salary range for this position is $45,000-55,000.
