Job Description
Parkview Orthopaedic Group is seeking a motivated, digitally savvy marketing coordinator to grow and energize our social media presence and strengthen our referral network. The ideal candidate is a social media growth and engagement specialist, who is also comfortable building relationships at outside events, in referring offices, and has experience working in the medical field. Responsibilities Social Media Growth & Engagement (Primary Focus) Own social media growth as a core, measurable priority of this role — build and manage a comprehensive, recurring content calendar across platforms (e.g., Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok) engineered to grow followers, reach, and engagement, not just maintain a presence. Set and actively track growth targets (follower growth, engagement rate, reach, video views) and adjust content strategy on a data-driven, ongoing basis. Design content specifically to drive interaction — polls, Q&As, comments-driven posts, contests, and shareable formats — rather than one-way broadcasting. Create and curate content that highlights patient outcomes/testimonials (with consent), practice culture, and community involvement. Plan provider-specific content series — profiles, Q&A posts, short educational videos, and "ask the doctor" segments — to build individual provider visibility and trust. Monitor comments, messages, and reviews, responding promptly and professionally to foster two-way engagement and build community around each channel. Stay current on platform trends, algorithm changes, and content formats, and bring new growth tactics to the practice's channels. Referral & Community Outreach Build and maintain relationships with primary care groups, physical therapy clinics, urgent cares, chiropractors, athletic trainers, and other specialty practices in the area to generate referral traffic. Schedule and conduct regular in-person visits ("lunch and learns," meet-and-greets, informational drop-ins) with referring offices to introduce providers and services. Represent the practice at community health fairs, youth and amateur sporting events, employer wellness events, and local civic organizations — and capture that presence as social content. Identify and pursue sponsorship, tabling, and speaking opportunities that raise practice visibility in the region. Track outreach activity and referral trends, reporting on which relationships and events are translating into new patients. Provider Support & Education Develop tailored marketing plans to support the growth of individual providers' practices. Coordinate and help develop patient- and community-facing educational materials and events (workshops, seminars, webinars) on orthopaedic conditions and treatments. Serve as a liaison between providers and marketing efforts, gathering input on messaging, specialties, and areas each provider wants to grow. Qualifications 2+ years of hands-on experience growing and managing social media accounts for a business or organization, with a track record of measurable follower and engagement growth. Comfort with social media analytics tools and translating data into content decisions. Experience in marketing, community relations, or business development; healthcare or medical practice experience a plus but not required. Strong interpersonal and networking skills, with confidence initiating and maintaining professional relationships. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Comfortable working independently, managing multiple priorities, and traveling locally to events and referring offices. Familiarity with healthcare marketing compliance (e.g., patient privacy/HIPAA considerations in testimonials and content) preferred. Strong graphic design or short-form video/content creation skills (e.g., Canva, CapCut, or similar) preferred. What success looks like Measurable, sustained growth in social media followers, reach, and engagement rate across all active platforms — the leading indicator for this role. A consistently active, on-brand content calendar with a clear mix of engagement-driving and educational content. Measurable follower and engagement growth across all platforms. A steady, trackable increase in referrals from targeted outside groups and specialties. New providers reaching healthy schedule volume within their first several months, supported by strong digital introduction campaigns.
