Job Description
Senior Events Associate About Tina's Wish Know Early. Know Hope.® This is the mission of Tina's Wish, a non-profit organization dedicated to funding groundbreaking scientific research for the early detection and prevention of ovarian cancer and providing critical gynecologic health education. Tina's Wish was founded in memory of the Honorable Tina Brozman, former chief judge of the SDNY Bankruptcy Court, who died two years after she was diagnosed — too late — with ovarian cancer. Since its inception in 2007, Tina's Wish has raised more than $34 million and is currently awarding $2.4 million annually in private grants for cutting-edge research. With its education and awareness platform, What to Know Down Below®, Tina's Wish provides vital resources, support, and information to help increase awareness about ovarian cancer and other gynecologic health topics to empower individuals. About the Role Ready to own and grow a portfolio of high-impact fundraising events? Want to hit the ground running on day one? Tina's Wish is seeking a Senior Events Associate to take ownership of a dynamic slate of fundraising and cultivation events. Reporting to the Manager of Regional Events, you'll join a team that plans and executes a robust portfolio of events annually across six major markets: NYC, Boston, Richmond, Los Angeles, Chicago, and Houston. The role demands both sides of the events craft: the tactical rigor to independently run a complex event portfolio, from timelines and budgets to flawless day-of execution and the operational details that keep it all connected, and the creative instinct to shape how each event feels for donors, from the arc of the evening to the small touches that make guests feel personally valued. This role also serves as a key liaison to our volunteer Event Committees, partnering with accomplished leaders and providing the tools, resources, and support they need to fundraise, cultivate new relationships, and expand the Tina's Wish reach. The ideal candidate is polished, responsive, and highly professional, with the initiative, trust, and confident communication to represent the foundation with warmth and credibility. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced nonprofit events professional with a demonstrated track record of flawless execution, who cares deeply about the design of the donor experience, brings warmth to relationships with donors and volunteer leaders, and is ready to take on greater ownership as part of a rapidly growing foundation deepening its relationships with its community.

Direct donor- and committee-facing experience, with the poise, judgment, and communication skills to represent an organization confidently in writing and in person. Strong project management, initiative, and problem-solving skills, able to manage multiple priorities and stay calm and organized when things move quickly.
