We're seeking a Wedding Day Assistant to join our event-day team with the potential for long-term growth into an Associate Planner role. This position is ideal for someone who is detail-obsessed, and genuinely enjoys the magic of weddings & events. You'll work alongside our lead planner to ensure every element of the day is seamless from fluffing the bride's gown to managing transitions. Key Responsibilities Assist with day-of setup and breakdown of small personal items Help style welcome areas, favor tables, bar signage, and detail flatlays Support timeline flow and keep vendors on track Guide guests, cue wedding party, and troubleshoot real-time issues Take direction from the lead planner while maintaining poise and professionalism Occasionally attend rehearsals or walkthroughs when required Availability Requirements Must be available weekends (most weddings fall on Saturdays or Sundays) Some weekday availability (for occasional Thursday/Friday events or rehearsals) Flexible start/end times depending on event schedule What We're Looking For Detail-oriented, responsible, and personable Excellent communication skills and a solutions-first mindset Physically capable of lifting up to 25 lbs and being on your feet for long hours Reliable transportation and valid license (must be based in

region) Experience in weddings, events, or hospitality is a plus , but not required , or we'll train the right person Compensation 1099 independent contractor role $18.00 - $25.00 per hour (based on experience) Accommodations for events outside central region This is not a full-time position and is scheduled per event Growth Opportunity This is more than a one-day gig. The right candidate may grow into an Associate Planner role in the future with more leadership, design involvement, and direct client communication.
