Marketing Coordinator - McKenzie Financial Group McKenzie Financial Group helps people walk into retirement with clarity instead of fear — through honest conversations, planning that isn't needlessly complicated, and events where folks actually feel welcome rather than sold to. We're hiring a Marketing Coordinator to own the two things that keep that engine running: filling the room at our seminars and events, and keeping our voice alive online. It's a hands-on role for someone organized, creative, and genuinely good with people. What You'd Own Seminars & Events
- Run the logistics end to end — venues, RSVPs, reminders, materials, day-of setup and teardown.
- Coordinate invitations and post-event follow-up so the right people show up and stay connected.
- Track what's working — turnout, response rates, no-shows — and adjust the next one accordingly.
- Be the calm, organized presence that makes every event feel effortless to the people attending. Social Media & Content
- Plan and post consistently across Facebook, Instagram, and YouTube.
- Turn Scott's guidance and our planning philosophy into posts, short videos, and graphics that actually sound like us — not generic finance filler.
- Keep a content calendar and stay a step ahead of it.
- Reply to comments and messages, and grow the audience over time. Who We're Looking For
- Organized to the point that nothing slips — events and calendars are unforgiving.
- A real writer with an ear for tone.
- Comfortable in the everyday tools (Canva, Meta Business Suite, a scheduler, an email platform) — or quick to pick them up.
- Self-directed — you can take something and run without being walked through every step.
- Warm with people; you'll meet clients and prospects face-to-face at events. Bonus Points
- Experience in financial services, insurance, or another appointment-driven business.
- Short-form video and light editing skills.
- Some event-planning background.
