Marketing & Community Engagement Coordinator

Job Description

The Marketing & Community Engagement Coordinator supports the school's marketing, communications, and community relations efforts for a private residential school serving students and adults with intellectual disabilities. This role helps coordinate outreach activities, strengthen community partnerships, support brand awareness, and ensure consistent, mission-aligned messaging across internal and external communications. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, and relationship-focused—someone who enjoys coordinating projects, managing communication details, supporting events and outreach efforts, and helping position the school as a trusted and welcoming resource within the broader community. Bachelor's degree required (marketing, communications, business or related field) 3+ years of experience in marketing, or outreach—preferably in: Special education Independent or private schools Residential programs Human services or disability‑focused organizations Strong strategic thinking skills with the ability to translate vision into action. Exceptional communication and relationship‑building skills Able to pass drug screen and background checks (no felonies, no abuse, assault or neglect convictions) Willing to complete TB skin test and work physical upon hire.
