Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Assistant to the Day of Wedding Coordinator to join our vibrant team. This is a hands-on event position that may include wedding setup, decorating, coordination assistance, guest hospitality, breakdown, and carefully packing and returning décor and event items after each event . Scheduled shifts will primarily fall on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays . Preference will be given to applicants who are available and willing to work multiple scheduled event dates . Hours will vary by event and may include daytime through evening shifts. Immediate opportunities are available. This opportunity is ideal for someone who is: Friendly, confident, and great with people Dependable and punctual Professional in appearance and demeanor Able to provide true Southern hospitality—warm, kind, and attentive Detail-oriented and able to follow instructions Proactive and calm under pressure Positive, composed, and team-oriented Comfortable working in a fast-paced event environment Willing to decorate, organize, break down, and help wherever needed Careful when handling décor, glassware, linens, and venue items Responsibilities may include: Setting up ceremony and reception spaces Decorating tables, ceremony areas, and reception spaces Setting tables, chairs, linens, centerpieces, and décor Assisting with wedding-day coordination and transitions Helping direct guests or wedding-party members when needed Keeping event spaces organized and presentable Assisting with light cleaning throughout the event Breaking down ceremony and reception spaces after the event Removing and carefully packing décor, linens, signage, and other event items Returning décor and supplies to their designated storage areas Keeping rental and venue items organized and protected Moving and lifting tables, chairs, décor, and event-related items Assisting the venue team with behind-the-scenes needs Helping us provide a smooth, stress-free experience for our couples and guests
Physical Requirements:
Must be able to climb and descend stairs throughout a shift Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods Must be able to lift and move event-related items Must be comfortable with the physical demands of event setup and breakdown
Additional Requirements:
Availability on Fridays, Saturdays, and/or Sundays Reliable transportation to Silver Point, Tennessee Comfortable wearing professional black-on-black event attire
