Next Up Talent is seeking an entry-level Marketing Assistant to join our growing in-person Marketing and Event Sales Team in Houston. This is an exciting, hands-on role where you'll work at live events, trade shows, and promotional activations—gaining real-world experience while representing top brands. Job Description In this role, you'll represent a well-known charitable cause at events, community activations, and public-facing campaigns across the Houston area. Rather than working from a desk or making cold calls, you'll be out in the field—at busy public locations, community events, and organized activations—engaging face-to-face with members of the public to raise awareness and generate support for important charitable causes. You'll be trained to confidently and authentically explain the mission and impact of the cause you represent, answer questions, and inspire people to get involved through sign-ups, donations, or ongoing support. Every conversation is different, so strong communication skills, genuine enthusiasm, and the ability to build quick rapport with strangers are essential.
Your day-to-day will include:
