You will be an integral part of the day-to-day STORIES experience — moving seamlessly between the Bistro, venue, events, clients, and behind-the-scenes operations. Working closely and side-by-side with the General Manager , you will help bring the STORIES experience to life from the first cup of coffee in the morning to the final guest leaving an evening event. The ideal candidate is polished, personable, proactive, and naturally attentive to details. You enjoy creating experiences, connecting with people, and being part of a team where no two days look exactly the same. Assist with the daily flow and operation of the Bistro. Help maintain a polished, clean, and inviting environment. Support opening, closing, and daily operational standards. Venue & Events Work alongside the General Manager to support the daily operation of the venue. Assist with venue openings, closings, setups, and tear-downs. Welcome and assist event clients, guests, and vendors. Serve as a point of contact for events when assigned. Assist with event execution, ensuring details are handled and the guest experience remains seamless. Conduct venue tours and help prospective clients experience the STORIES space. Step in wherever needed to support successful events. Sales & Client Experience Assist with thoughtful and timely follow-up with venue and event leads. Assist with content creation and day-to-day marketing initiatives. Contribute ideas that help grow awareness of STORIES and create a cohesive brand experience. Be attentive to the small details that make our space, service, and brand feel elevated. Who You Are You are someone who: Has a natural sense of hospitality and knows how to make people feel welcome. Is polished, professional, and confident communicating with guests and clients. Takes initiative and sees what needs to be done without always being asked. Can move comfortably between making a latte, giving a venue tour, responding to a client, and helping prepare for an event. Is organized, dependable, and detail-oriented. Enjoys working collaboratively and thrives in a team environment. Is comfortable being both customer-facing and behind the scenes. Has an interest in hospitality, coffee, events, marketing, or creative work. Understands that the details matter — from the presentation of a coffee to the way a client is welcomed into the building. Why STORIES? STORIES is more than a coffee shop and more than an event venue. It is a hospitality-driven space where coffee, food, design, events, and people come together. This role offers the opportunity to become part of that experience and grow with the business. You will work directly with the General Manager and have exposure to multiple sides of the operation — from Bistro service and events to client experience, sales, and brand development.
