Student - Campus Connection Event Support - On Call

The Campus Connection Event Support - On Call position is ideal for students looking for a flexible, on-campus job that fits around classes while supporting campus events as needed. This role focuses on guest assistance, ticketing support, and indoor event directional signage, helping patrons find ticket sales locations and event venues. This is an on-call, as-needed position, making it a great option for students with variable availability who enjoy assisting others and participating in campus events. Training is provided, and no prior event experience is required! Place and manage indoor event directional signage to guide patrons to ticket sales locations and event venues Scan tickets and assist with guest check-in and entry at events Serve as an usher by welcoming guests, helping them find seats, distributing programs, and answering basic questions Provide friendly, professional customer service to students, staff, and visitors Support Box Office operations when assigned, including basic ticket sales and customer assistance Follow event procedures and staff direction to support organized, welcoming events Perform other event-support duties as assigned

Hours & Scheduling:

This is an on-call position, with shifts scheduled based on event needs Shifts are most often available during evenings and weekends, with occasional daytime opportunities Hours are not guaranteed each week Scheduling is flexible and works well for students seeking supplemental or occasional work Must be a current UVU student Reliable, punctual, and able to follow instructions Comfortable interacting with the public in a customer-service environment Able to stand and walk for extended periods during events Positive attitude and willingness to support team efforts
