Job Description

Event Specialist Robert Pico Insurance Agency, Inc. Salt Lake City, UT Job Details Part-time $17 - $20 an hour 1 hour ago Qualifications Sourcing Interpersonal skills Assembly Attention to detail Relationship management Full Job Description About the Role We're looking for a well-connected, people-loving professional to help grow our agent community through agent bus tours, mixers, and pop-by support. Our bus tours bring listing agents and industry partners together to preview one another's properties, exchange feedback, and build the relationships that help listings sell. In this role, you'll fill the bus, plan and run our mixers, secure industry sponsors, and help agents stay connected with their clients. As the program grows, there's an opportunity to step into hosting tours. What You'll Do Agent Bus Tours Recruit listing agents to feature properties and ride on tours, drawing on your network across brokerages. Recruit industry partners, such as lenders, title reps, inspectors, and insurance agents, to ride the bus alongside agents, and coordinate their participation so they add value and build relationships. Build relationships with brokerage managers, team leaders, and local real estate boards to get tours in front of more agents. Follow up with agents after tours to gather feedback and encourage repeat participation. Mixers Plan and execute agent mixers from start to finish, including venues, invitations, food and drinks, setup, and day-of logistics. Keep a consistent mixer calendar so agents stay engaged between tours. Secure industry partners to sponsor mixers. This includes pitching sponsorship packages, confirming commitments, and making sure sponsors get the visibility they were promised. Pop-By Support Support agents with their pop-bys by helping source, order, assemble, and prepare gifts, tags, and materials so agents can easily deliver them to clients. Coordinate with local vendors and businesses on pop-by supplies, pricing, and pickup or delivery. Partner and Community Relationships Maintain ongoing relationships with sponsors and industry partners to encourage repeat support and long-term involvement. Represent the organization at community events, chamber of commerce functions, and local business gatherings to build visibility and open doors to new partners and venues. Track outreach, participation, events, and sponsor commitments. What We're Looking For Strong existing relationships with agents and brokers in the local market. Existing relationships with real estate industry partners such as lenders, title reps, and inspectors. Deep connections in the local community, including business owners, civic groups, chambers of commerce, and nonprofits. Real enjoyment of meeting people, starting conversations, and connecting others. Solid knowledge of residential real estate and listing strategy, so you speak agents' language. A working understanding of mortgage and financing, especially helpful when working with lender partners. Confidence asking for sponsorships and a track record of turning conversations into commitments. Event planning experience and a track record of pulling off well-run gatherings. Strong organization and attention to detail when managing supplies, vendors, and deadlines. Comfort with simple design tools like Canva for invitations and pop-by tags. Self-motivated, consistent with follow-up, and comfortable working independently. A Property & Casualty (P&C) insurance license, or the willingness to obtain one within 120 days of hire. We support the licensing process. Experience as an agent, lender, title rep, or in real estate business development or events is a strong plus. Interest in eventually hosting tours and comfort speaking in front of groups. Compensation & Growth Hourly pay plus performance bonuses. Support for obtaining your P&C insurance license. A growth path that includes hosting agent bus tours as the program expands.
