About Crimson Brand Partners Crimson Brand Partners is a newly formed partnership with the University of Utah designed to modernize how the University continues to build its brand. Crimson Brand Partners will manage commercial operations across Utah Athletics and the broader university - including events at stadiums and arenas, branding, licensing, sponsorships, ticketing, and digital media. Job Summary The Project Coordinator supports the Marketing team by managing the intake and organization of all marketing projects in the project management system, coordinating team meetings, and handling select purchasing needs. This role keeps projects moving efficiently, maintains clear communication across teams, and ensures the Marketing department stays organized and on track.
Key Responsibilities:
Project Intake & System Management Serve as the primary point of intake for all new marketing projects and requests Enter, organize, and maintain projects in the project management system (Asana, Wrike, or similar) Ensure projects are properly scoped, tagged, prioritized, and assigned Keep project statuses, deadlines, and documentation up to date Meeting Coordination Schedule and coordinate recurring and ad-hoc marketing meetings Prepare agendas, track action items, and distribute notes/follow-ups Help keep meetings focused and productive Purchasing & Administrative Support Assist with purchasing of marketing-related materials, tools, and services Process purchase requests, track orders, and coordinate with vendors as needed Maintain basic records related to project expenses and vendor communications Cross-Team Support Act as a liaison between designers, digital, video, photo, social, and other stakeholders Help surface blockers early and escalate issues when needed Support the broader Marketing team with light administrative and operational tasks as priorities shift
Qualifications Required:
1-3 years of experience in project coordination, marketing operations, or a similar administrative/coordination role Experience working in a project management platform (Asana, Wrike, Monday.com, or similar) Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Clear, professional written and verbal communication Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment Comfortable coordinating across teams and following up on action items Basic understanding of marketing workflows and creative processes preferred
Preferred:
