Position Overview:

We're looking for enthusiastic, reliable, and customer-focused team members to represent Blue Ridge Pickling at our fall and holiday markets. As part of our event staff, you'll help set up and break down market displays, engage with customers, process sales, and share our passion for great pickles.

Responsibilities:

Arrive on time and ready to work at scheduled markets and events Set up and take down booth displays, tables, signage, and inventory Greet customers warmly and offer samples in accordance with health and safety guidelines Provide knowledgeable and friendly product information to customers Process cash and card transactions using our point-of-sale system Maintain a clean, organized, and visually appealing booth Assist with inventory tracking and restocking during events Represent Blue Ridge Pickling in a professional and approachable manner

Qualifications:

Strong communication and people skills Outgoing personality and ability to engage with diverse customers Reliable transportation to and from event locations Ability to lift up to 40 lbs and stand for extended periods of time Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions Prior farmers market, retail, or food service experience is a plus, but not required

Availability:

Must be available weekends (Saturdays & Sundays) and some weekday evenings during the fall/holiday season (September-December) Specific dates and times will vary based on market schedules
