Responsibilities:
Serve as webmaster for the firm's external website, ensuring timely updates and accurate content. Post new attorney-authored articles, edit attorney and practice group bios, and manage content updates. Monitor, review, and respond to website inquiries, including newsletter sign-ups, client messages, contact forms, and general feedback. Maintain a consistent and professional social media presence by collaborating on content strategy, drafting and scheduling posts, and tracking engagement metrics across platforms such as LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, and X. Monitor Google alerts and online media for firm and attorney mentions to identify PR opportunities and content for repurposing. Act as Data Steward for the firm's CRM system, Nexl, ensuring data accuracy, completeness, and organization. Add and update contacts, manage list segmentation, and merge duplicate records. Update contact information in both the firm's CRM system based on returned mail or emails, conducting online research when necessary. Support firm seminars and events in collaboration with the Marketing Manager, including managing invitations, materials, and event logistics. Design and proofread communications such as newsletters, client alerts, and internal announcements. Create posters, flyers, and other visual assets for internal initiatives and firm events. Assist in the development of business proposals, pitch materials, and marketing collateral. Compile business development analytics (ex: whitespace analysis), as requested. Prepare PowerPoint presentations for seminars, client meetings, and speaking engagements. Update attorney LinkedIn profiles and create personalized notecards and branded materials as needed. Stay up to date on legal marketing trends, digital tools, and best practices to introduce new ideas and efficiencies to the team. Assist with special projects and firmwide initiatives, as assigned.Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, business, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience. One to three years of experience in marketing, communications, business development, or a related professional-services environment preferred. Strong writing, editing, proofreading, and organizational skills, with careful attention to accuracy, consistency, and deadlines. Proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Publisher; experience preparing presentations, reports, and marketing materials. Experience maintaining website content and managing professional social media platforms; working knowledge of HTML and digital engagement metrics preferred. Experience with CRM and email marketing platforms; familiarity with Nexl or a comparable CRM system and Mailchimp preferred. Experience with Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, including InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, or comparable design tools desirable. Ability to manage multiple projects, coordinate event details, conduct online research, maintain confidential information, and work collaboratively in a deadline-driven environment.Travel:
This position requires travel to other K&C office locations and occasional overnight travel for events.Benefits
