The Marketing and Admissions Coordinator will endeavor to fill the PCA classrooms with students whose parents are in agreement with the school mission. He/she will oversee all Marketing and Enrollment events and online, radio and print advertising.   • Have a high school diploma or GED.
  • Have current First Aid, CPR, and concussion training.
  • Possess evidence of other adequate preparation, background, or experience as determined by the Head of School.

  • Attend all PCA Professional Development and workshops as recommended.
  • Attend all meetings, as requested. Principal Duties and Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement strategic marketing plans with forecasts to achieve the school's objectives for enrolling students.
  • Have specific awareness of the competitive environment and adjust marketing strategies to meet changing market and competitive conditions.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with key strategic school partners in the local community: with feeder schools, and with other individuals and organizations that can contribute to robust enrollment.
  • Represent and promote the school at local events.
  • Serve as the face of the school to prospective students and parents, and at various gatherings and conferences, as appropriate.
  • Arrange interviews with new families with the appropriate administrator(s).
  • Conduct admission testing.
  • Oversee all student applications and track the submission of necessary supporting credentials and documentation.
  • Communicate with families throughout the admissions process, including the admission decision.
  • Provide a welcoming environment and smooth transition for new students and families.
  • Manage the reenrollment process for currently enrolled students.
  • Organize and oversee recruitment events, including open houses and information events.
  • Develop admission and marketing materials, mailings, and publications.
  • Oversee the content of the Marketing and Admission portion of the school's website and ensure that it is informational and compelling.
  • Build relationships with alumni.
  • Prepare, maintain, and analyze statistics regarding recruitment, retention, and attrition.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor. Summary of Essential Job Functions
  • Able to manage time and prioritize daily and weekly tasks.
  • Able to walk throughout the school campus to give tours to new families.
  • Able to manage the physical, emotional, and mental aspects of the job.
  • Able to walk forward and backwards.
  • Able to project voice so that up to 50 students can hear.
  • Able to lift or carry supplies, textbooks, furniture, and equipment to a maximum of 35 pounds.
  • Able to sit, stand, bend, stoop, reach, grab, pull, hear, see, and speak on a daily basis.
  • Able to perform repetitive physical tasks such as computer keyboarding.
  • Able to monitor students in a variety of locations including those with noise, activity, and inclement weather.
Work Hours and Compensation The Marketing & Admissions Coordinator is a full time, year round responsibility. The hours are Monday - Friday, 7:30 a.m. -4:00 p.m. Salary range of $21 - $35 per hour is based on qualifications and work experience. Full-time benefits include a 50% PCA full time student tuition discount for eligible EE-12 dependents, which increases by 10% each returning year to 100%, base life insurance 100%, and 75% of medical and dental insurance premiums (see Employee Handbook for details). Hourly employees do not normally work over Christmas, Easter, and 4 day weekend vacations, and therefore must plan ahead for days they earn no wages.
