Job Description

Specialty Leasing Sales & Marketing Representative Outlet Collection Seattle | Auburn, WA You've probably shopped here. Now help shape what's next. Outlet Collection Seattle isn't just home to Nike, Coach, Adidas, Ulta Beauty, Burlington, Old Navy, and dozens of other leading brands—it's one of the Pacific Northwest's premier shopping destinations. Behind every new store opening, community event, seasonal activation, and memorable guest experience is a collaborative team that keeps the center thriving. Urban Retail Properties is looking for a motivated, creative, and relationship-driven Specialty Leasing Sales & Marketing Representative to join our on-site management team. This is far from a traditional desk job. You'll play a key role in growing our specialty leasing program while helping execute the marketing initiatives that keep the center vibrant and engaging. One day you could be meeting with local entrepreneurs to bring exciting new concepts to the property. The next, you'll be launching a social media campaign, coordinating a center-wide event, supporting ownership reporting, or helping transform the shopping center for the holidays. If you're energized by sales, marketing, business development, events, and building relationships, you'll find plenty of opportunities to make an impact here. We're a small, close-knit team entering an exciting period of growth with new retailers, refreshed marketing initiatives, and continued investment in our property and community. We value people who are proactive, organized, creative, and willing to jump in wherever needed. Your ideas will be heard, your work will be visible, and no two days will look the same. Whether you're helping launch a new retailer, creating memorable experiences for our guests, or identifying the next specialty leasing opportunity, you'll play an important role in shaping one of Washington's busiest shopping destinations. Specific Specialty Leasing responsibilities include and are not limited to: Lease specialty spaces including RMUs, kiosks, vending locations, and temporary in-line spaces. Prospect, canvass, and develop relationships with local businesses, entrepreneurs, and retailers to generate new specialty leasing opportunities. Collaborate with the Specialty Leasing Manager on sourced and lead-generated opportunities to secure deals, including obtaining Regional Director and Ownership approvals when required. Prepare leasing documentation, deal terms, and supporting exhibits for approval through the online leasing platform. Ensure compliance with specialty leasing policies, procedures, and visual merchandising standards. Coordinate licensee move-ins, move-outs, and operational requirements with the Operations Manager. Support the General Manager with rent collection, sales reporting, and required licensee documentation as needed. Represent Outlet Collection Seattle professionally while fostering strong relationships with retailers, vendors, and prospective tenants. Marketing Representative responsibilities include and are not limited to: Develop and execute the annual marketing plan, promotional calendar, and center-wide marketing initiatives. Drive non-traditional revenue through sponsorships, experiential events, promotions, and other income-generating programs. Build and maintain strong relationships with retailers to support store sales, participation in marketing initiatives, and successful center events. Manage advertising campaigns, social media content, digital communications, and promotional materials. Conduct and analyze customer research, trade area demographics, and market trends to support business and marketing decisions. Measure and evaluate the effectiveness of marketing campaigns using established performance metrics. Develop, manage, and adhere to the annual marketing budget. Oversee the property's visual merchandising program, digital signage, and seasonal décor installations. Support leasing efforts through marketing presentations, leasing materials, retailer communications, and promotional initiatives. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field preferred. One to two years of experience in specialty leasing, commercial leasing, marketing, business development, sales, or retail management. Excellent written, verbal, organizational, and interpersonal communication skills. Self-motivated with the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, and Outlook), with the ability to quickly learn company software and document management systems. Experience with social media platforms, content creation tools (e.g., Canva), digital signage software, and basic graphic design is strongly preferred. Previous shopping center, retail, or commercial real estate experience is a plus. Schedule & Requirements This is a full-time, on-site position with typical business hours of 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday . Flexibility is required to support the needs of a dynamic retail environment, including occasional evenings, weekends, and holidays for special events and peak shopping periods.
