Job Description
This is an opportunity for a proven hospitality sales leader to take ownership of group revenue strategy across a dynamic upscale hotel portfolio. The role combines a large conference hotel with extensive meeting space and a luxury boutique hotel featuring a full-service spa and exceptional culinary experiences. Luxury Hotel Director of Sales Benefits Base salary up to 95K plus generous quarterly bonuses Opportunity to grow within a growing luxury-based organization Opportunity to develop new corporate, association, university, sports, entertainment, government, and social business Impact and grow strategic relationships with major accounts Strong benefits package including Health, Dental, Vision, PTO, and Retirement Luxury Hotel Director of Sales Requirements 7+ years of progressive hotel sales experience with proven leadership experience Luxury or upscale branded hotel experience required; luxury Hilton experience strongly preferred Proven conference hotel group sales experience with substantial meeting space and F&B operations Demonstrated success developing corporate, association, university, and other group market segments Track record of generating significant new business through proactive prospecting and market development Strong financial understanding, including group revenue, ADR, forecasting, profitability, and revenue optimization Polished executive presence with strong negotiation, presentation, networking, and relationship-building skills Bachelor's degree and CMP, CHSP, or similar hospitality certification preferred Luxury Hotel Director of Sales Responsibilities Lead group sales strategy and revenue generation across the hotel portfolio while supporting BT and leisure sales initiatives Direct, coach, and hold two Group Sales Managers accountable for prospecting, pipeline development, account growth, and revenue goals Personally develop and manage key strategic accounts, including university-related business and high-value corporate and group relationships Build new business through active market outreach, networking, client entertainment, sales calls, site inspections, industry relationships, and targeted prospecting Partner with Revenue Management to optimize group pricing, inventory, displacement, business mix, and profitability Lead negotiations and develop group business that maximizes room revenue, F&B revenue, meeting space utilization, and total account value Collaborate closely with Operations, Catering, Marketing, Finance, and Revenue Management to ensure successful execution and exceptional client experiences Establish sales accountability through pipeline reviews, forecasting, activity tracking, market action plans, and performance coaching
