Sales Manager is responsible for developing and maintaining customer relationships, securing new business opportunities, and managing the sales process for Engines and Major Modules. This role supports customers throughout North America, Africa, Europe, and the Far East, ensuring exceptional service, timely order fulfillment, and continued business growth. The position may also provide leadership and oversight to Customer Service Representatives (CSRs) as needed.
Essential Functions:
(must be able to perform these functions, with or without reasonable accommodation). Develop, manage, and expand relationships with existing customers while identifying, pursuing, and securing new business opportunities within assigned markets and territories. Monitor industry trends and competitive activities by gathering and analyzing market intelligence related to pricing, turnaround times, capabilities, product offerings, delivery performance, and customer requirements. Prepare, present, and negotiate proposals, quotations, and contractual agreements in a timely manner to support customer needs and company growth objectives. Recommend enhancements to products, services, processes, and business strategies based on customer feedback, market analysis, and competitive developments. Partner closely with Sales, Operations, Programs, and Customer Support teams to promote Segers Aero Corporation's reputation as a premier, world-class aerospace MRO provider. Maintain regular communication with leadership by providing sales activity reports, opportunity pipeline updates, customer engagement summaries, market analyses, and business development forecasts. Actively participate in the annual budgeting, forecasting, and strategic planning processes to support organizational growth and long-term business objectives. Represent the company at customer meetings, trade shows, industry conferences, and business development events while traveling domestically and internationally by air and automobile up to 50% of the time. Works when scheduled and comply with company attendance policy. Observes and practices all safety procedures and personal policies (e.g. Safety-glasses, ear plugs, face shields etc.) Work additional hours as necessary to support customer requirements, business objectives, and operational demands. Other duties as required. Skills, knowledge and abilities: (these are required to enable job holder to perform the essential functions of the job). Must be able to maintain an effective working relationship with, and among co-workers and supervisors. Ability to travel extensively, up to 50% to meet with clients and attend industry events. Must be a self-starter, show initiative and be able to work with no supervision. Must be able to use applied knowledge to formulate positive solutions to problem situations. Must be able to effectively read, write and communicate in English. Must be able to write proposals, in English, with minimal errors. Must have excellent computer skills including the use of company software to include companies MIS system, and Microsoft Office products. Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation, and relationship management skills, with the ability to effectively engage customers at all organizational levels. Ability to analyze market trends, identify business opportunities, and develop strategic sales initiatives that support company objectives. Must be able to add, subtract, multiply and divide, using fractions and decimals. Must be able to work well under pressure and manage priorities. Must be able to demonstrate organizational skills and attention to detail. Must be able to lift and carry up to 25 lbs. occasionally. Must be able to see within normal range with or without corrective lenses. Must be able to sit for extended periods of time while using hands, fingers and wrists repetitively on a computer keyboard. Must be able to stand and walk throughout the day. Ability to provide verification of US citizenship or permanent residency to satisfy
ITAR/EAR
restrictions. Ability to obtain a
US Passport Marginal Functions:

Experience and Education Requirements:
High School Diploma or GED required. Bachelor's degree in Business is preferred. A minimum of five (5) years of experience in aviation sales, account management, and marketing is required. Prior experience supporting OEM, MRO, military, or commercial aviation customers, particularly with T700, CT7, or comparable turbine engine platforms, is strongly preferred. Must have a valid driver's license and be insurable through the company's insurance carrier. Must pass a criminal background check and pre-employment drug screen.
