The Montgomery Marriott Prattville Hotel & Conference Center at Capitol Hill is looking for an experienced hospitality sales professional to join our team as Catering Sales Manager . This is an opportunity to build relationships, grow catering and group business, and help clients bring exceptional meetings and events to life at a full-service Marriott hotel and conference center. As Catering Sales Manager, you will proactively solicit, develop, and manage group and catering opportunities while maximizing revenue through strategic selling and upselling. You'll play an important role in achieving individual and team revenue goals while ensuring a seamless transition from sales to service. Proactively identify, solicit, and develop new group and catering business opportunities. Build and maintain strong client relationships that generate repeat and future business. Maximize revenue through strategic selling, upselling, and identifying opportunities within each account or event. Manage multiple sales opportunities while maintaining strong organization, follow-through, and attention to detail. Collaborate with hotel teams to ensure a smooth transition from the sales process to event execution and an exceptional client experience. Proven hospitality sales experience , preferably involving group and catering business. A demonstrated ability to identify opportunities, build business, upsell, and maximize revenue. Strong communication, organization, and time-management skills with exceptional attention to detail. A passion for service and building long-term client relationships. A collaborative, results-oriented approach and the ability to manage multiple opportunities and priorities effectively.
