Summary:
Plan, direct, control and manage the activities and staff involved with the negotiation, preparation, monitoring and termination of contracts between the company and customers to ensure the fulfillment of all contractual obligations. Primary liaison between customer, engineering, manufacturing, finance and quality departments to address customer related needs including but not limited to quotations, orders and general questions. Duties & Responsibilities:
Supervise customer service staff responsible for purchase order entry, quotation coordination and submittal, backlog alignment and customer communication Manage and coordinate contract administration activities to ensure that contractual obligations are maintained in a manner which ensures good customer relations while representing the interest of the company. Advise management of contract obligations, deficiencies, commitments, and performance. Supports sales function in the processing of quotations and proposals Handles incoming requests for order status including expedite requests through coordination with Engineering, Operations, Planning, Quality and Purchasing as well as drives regular customer updates where required. Proactively manages on time delivery through close internal coordination and communicates status inclusive of recovery date information if applicable. Fields general customer inquiries and conducts internal research to respond in a timely manner. Builds and maintains strong positive relationships with customers and assures customer satisfaction by resolution of customer related issues as well as supporting in person meetings.
Qualifications Minimum Education & Experience:
BS degree or equivalent and at least 5 years experience leading a sales team in a manufacturing environment Aerospace Industry experience preferred. ERP system knowledge. Past project management experience and experience leading a cross functional team to manage the timeline and delivery on new parts/products. Good customer relation skills.
