The Business Development Supervisor will be responsible for marketing and directly selling the Lux Bus America and Sun Diego Charter's services, developing relationships with new and existing customers, and identifying opportunities to maximize sales volume. This position will focus on maintaining and growing the Company's client base by building and sustaining strong business relationships. In addition, the Business Development Supervisor will assist management with overseeing the day-to-day charter operations of the Business Development department, while honoring Lux Bus America's approach to business that starts with our commitment to safety, operational excellence, and customer service.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Although additional duties and related tasks may be assigned, the essential duties and responsibilities of this position include the following: Business Development and Sales Proactively identify, pursue, and maintain a consistent pipeline of prospective customers that align with the Company's standards for quality and value. o Identify prospective customers through referrals from existing clients, participation in professional organizations and industry groups, trade shows, conferences, networking events, and other lead-generation opportunities. o Develop new leads and prospects for business opportunities, maintaining an active sales portfolio in alignment with the business development calendar and Company objectives. Travel within the assigned sales territory to meet with prospective and existing customers and develop business relationships. Utilize a consultative selling approach to understand prospective clients' needs and demonstrate how the Company's services can provide operational, financial, and professional value. Maintain a high level of knowledge regarding the Company's products and services and effectively communicate solutions and value propositions to key decision-makers. Partner with leadership to develop, implement, and continuously improve sales strategies and plans designed to support market-segment growth. Cross-sell additional business solutions by identifying client needs and opportunities throughout the discovery and sales process. Monitor industry trends, competitors, new products and services, and market conditions to better understand customer needs and identify potential business opportunities. Account Management and Client Growth Build customer loyalty by maintaining relationships with clients following the sale or execution of contracts, resolving concerns, and providing ongoing support. Develop and execute strategic account growth plans for existing customers by identifying opportunities to expand services, increase revenue, and strengthen long-term partnerships across additional departments, campuses, business units, events, and transportation programs. Conduct regular business reviews with key accounts to evaluate service performance, identify emerging transportation needs, and proactively recommend solutions that support clients' evolving objectives. Maintain strong relationships with key client contacts and identify opportunities to deepen and expand existing partnerships. Sales Operations and Administration Review advance bookings, quotes, and follow-up activity for quality and accuracy to ensure client outreach is timely, effective, and appropriately prioritized. Perform administrative duties related to business development activities, including preparing reports, maintaining sales records, and submitting expense reports. Partner with the Creative Development department to support brand development, marketing initiatives, and go-to-market strategies. Assist management with planning, coordinating, and facilitating weekly team meetings. Team Supervision and Development Supervise, coach, train, and support members of the sales team to promote achievement of performance standards, sales activity expectations, and individual goals. Monitor team performance and provide ongoing feedback, guidance, and support to improve individual and overall sales effectiveness. Foster and promote a positive, collaborative, and results-oriented team environment across all locations.

SCHEDULE
In light of the nature of the transportation industry, the Company does not maintain regular business hours. You are expected to work customary business hours but will vary as determined by the Company's specific business needs. Schedules are subject to change and may require early mornings, evenings, weekends, holidays, or multiple-day shifts. Flexibility with the work schedule and the ability to work any shift assigned is required.

Education / Experience
