Territory Sales Manager — Window Treatments (San Fernando Valley)

818 Shutters & Shades is building something different in the window treatment industry — and we're looking for the right person to own the San Fernando Valley market. This isn't a traditional sales job. We're selecting a Territory Sales Manager who will build and run the 818 territory as if it were their own business. You'll handle the full sales cycle — from lead to consultation to close — for homeowners across Calabasas, Woodland Hills, Encino, Sherman Oaks, Burbank, Glendale, and the surrounding Valley communities. We provide the brand, the leads, the CRM, the supplier relationships, and the installation crews. You build the business. What you'll do: Run in-home consultations with homeowners to design custom window treatment solutions (shutters, blinds, shades, drapery) Manage the full sales pipeline from first contact through order completion Build relationships with interior designers, builders, and real estate professionals in your territory Hit monthly sales targets and grow the territory's revenue quarter over quarter Own your schedule and manage your territory like a business, not a shift What makes this role different: You're not just earning commission — you're building toward territory ownership. Top performers will have the opportunity to earn profit share and eventually own equity in their territory as we scale. No income ceiling. Your earnings are directly tied to the business you build. You'll sell premium, custom products (Norman, Onyx) to high-income homeowners — not commodity blinds from a catalog.

Full back-office support:

we handle ordering, installation coordination, and customer service so you can focus on selling. You're a great fit if you: Have 2+ years of in-home sales experience (window treatments, flooring, roofing, solar, HVAC, kitchen/bath, or similar home improvement) Think like a business owner, not an employee Are self-motivated and comfortable building a book of business from the ground up Have strong consultative selling skills — you listen first, then recommend Live in or near the San Fernando Valley Have a reliable vehicle and valid driver's license

Compensation:

Months 1-6: $3,000/month base draw + 10% commission on all closed sales Months 7+: 12% commission + profit share bonuses based on territory performance Realistic Year 1 earnings: $75,000 - $100,000 Year 2+ with a built territory: $120,000 - $200,000+ Path to territory ownership for the right person 818 Shutters & Shades is the flagship territory of Area Code Window Treatments — a growing network of hyperlocal window treatment companies across Southern California.
