Pay Range:
$75,000.00-$142,000.00The Director of Sales is responsible for the leadership and management of the sales team to include overseeing and coordinating Sales, Catering, Marketing, and Conference Services Managers. The Director of Sales will implement, monitor and control sales and marketing strategies. The Director of Sales is also responsible for meeting assigned monthly sales goals.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
Education Bachelor's Degree or equivalent industry experience Experience Minimum of 3 years' experience as a Senior Sales Manager or Associate Director of Sales in a similar sized property Skills & Knowledge Strong communication, presentation, negotiation, and relationship-building skills. Ability to lead, train, and mentor a sales team. Proficiency in hotel sales systems, Microsoft Office, and PMS platforms. Knowledge of STR, TravelClick, forecasting, budgeting, and sales productivity reporting. Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities. Understanding of group and catering pace, marketing plans, and financial expectations. Job Duties Lead, train, and manage the Sales, Catering, and Conference Services teams. Achieve or exceed budgeted revenues, RevPAR, and market penetration goals. Develop and execute sales strategies, action plans, and team goals. Oversee professional and timely proposals, contracts, and follow-up. Support hiring, onboarding, and performance management within the department. Conduct sales calls, client entertainment, and site inspections; maintain strong account relationships. Review and ensure accuracy of sales and group contracts. Collaborate with Revenue Management on pricing, forecasting, and business mix strategies. Assist with annual budget, marketing plans, and quarterly ownership presentations. Monitor team productivity, financial performance, and market conditions. Create and distribute monthly sales reports to senior leadership. Partner with Marketing on promotional strategies and brand visibility. Maintain accurate sales records and respond to all inquiries within 24 business hours. Address guest and client concerns and ensure corrective action. Perform other duties as assigned.
