Job Description
Company Overview Club Pilates is a rapidly expanding fitness franchise with locations across multiple states and countries. Renowned for its innovative Pilates classes and comprehensive instructor training programs, the company serves a diverse clientele seeking quality fitness experiences. Join us and be part of a vibrant community dedicated to promoting health, wellness, and active lifestyles. Job Overview We're looking for a Sales Manager to own our presale campaign from first waitlist signup to grand-opening: Building local awareness, converting warm leads into founding memberships, and creating the kind of pre- Opening momentum that sets a studio up to be profitable from day one. This is a hands-on, high-accountability role — equal parts phone-based sales, community outreach, and disciplined follow-through. What You'll Own Own the waitlist funnel: manage the dedicated waitlist landing page and lead capture, and keep the pipeline clean and current.
Run the nurture sequence:
execute an 8-14-touchpoint email/SMS sequence that introduces the studio, shares buildout updates, and answers FAQs.Show up locally:
represent the studio at pop-ups and local partnerships to build reach and trust outside of paid and organic media.Coordinate content:
partner with the owner on organic social 3-5x per week — announcements, behind-the-scenes, meet-the-team — to bring the local audience along on the journey to opening.Drive the presale:
execute offers to the waitlist, using tightening pricing and deadlines to build real urgency — without overselling the discount and devaluing the brand.Work the phones:
make outbound sales calls to the highest-intent leads. Manage email/SMS:
Use email and messaging to nurture-and-close on sales.Lead grassroots outreach:
host free classes at nearby parks, build relationships with local salons, cafes, and chiropractors for cross-promotion, and run demos or sponsor booths at local farmers markets and other community events.Track and report results:
monitor leads, conversion rates, and founding membership counts weekly, and flag what's working (and what isn't) early. What Success Looks Like A waitlist and lead pipeline built well ahead of the presale window opening Founding membership sales that hit or exceed studio targets across presale A consistent, documented outbound calling and follow-up cadence — no warm lead left unworked Strong local relationships and grassroots presence that extend reach beyond paid and organic channels What You Bring Proven sales experience with a track record of hitting targets — membership-based, fitness/wellness, or high-touch consultative sales strongly preferred Comfort and confidence on the phone; genuinely enjoys outbound calling and converting warm leads, not just responding to inbound Experience with CRM/lead management tools A natural community-builder — comfortable working a room at a farmers market or pop-up as much as closing a sale over the phone Self-starter energy suited to a pre-launch environment: things will be unscripted, and consistency matters more than any single tactic Ability to work some evenings and weekends for grassroots events and to reach leads when they're available Passion for fitness, wellness, or Pilates is a strong plus How to Apply Send your resume and a note on your sales background to apply. We're moving quickly on this hire — the presale clock starts the day the waitlist opens.Pay:
