Job Description
Water/Wastewater Business Development Manager This is your opportunity to take a well-established construction and infrastructure business further into the alternative delivery public and private water and wastewater treatment plant space. Build the relationships, credibility, and momentum to turn opportunity into a revenue-generating projects, with the resources and team to maximize your superpowers. This is your runway to think long-term, work upstream, and introduce the company into projects before competitors even know they exist. How You Will Create the
Market You:
- Become the connector between engineers, equipment suppliers, and private & public facility owners who need water and wastewater treatment solutions.
- Introduce the company into projects early — during concept, design, and pre-construction — where long-term relationships matter more than quick wins.
- Identify underserved opportunities in private water treatment across agriculture, food & beverage, industrial processing, data centers, and advanced manufacturing.
- Shape how this market develops by deciding where to focus, who to partner with, and which opportunities are worth pursuing.
- Work side by side with internal engineering and operations teams to align technical capabilities with real-world project needs.
- Expand the company's footprint across California, and Colorado Experience You Bring You may have experience:
- In water treatment, wastewater treatment, industrial water, or recycled water
- In account management, market development, or business development with long sales cycles
- A background working with contractors, engineering firms, plant designers, equipment manufacturers, public and private owners, or water technology companies
- Engineering background or technical education
- Existing relationships in water, wastewater, or industrial treatment markets, or supporting private facilities such as food & beverage, agriculture, data centers, or industrial plants Compensation Your compensation is intentionally flexible and will be built around the right person.
