Reporting to the EVP of Industry Relations and Business Development, this leader will be responsible for expanding IAPMO's customer base, strengthening industry relationships, identifying new business opportunities, and leading the strategy behind sales, customer service, and business development operations. What You'll Lead Develop and execute strategies to drive business growth, customer acquisition, and market expansion Grow IAPMO's product certification business and establish measurable goals, KPIs, and reporting Identify market trends, emerging products, competitive activity, and new revenue opportunities Build and strengthen relationships with manufacturers, industry partners, prospective clients, and key stakeholders Analyze competitive certification agencies and develop strategies to win and transition new business to IAPMO Lead and develop the Business Development team , including coaching, training, and performance support Partner with Marketing, Legal, technical teams, and other IAPMO business units on strategic initiatives Serve as a senior point of contact for complex client needs and high-level business opportunities Represent IAPMO at trade shows, association meetings, and industry events Support strategic pricing, customer retention, sales processes, and business development analytics What We're Looking For Bachelor's degree in Business or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience 8-10 years of progressive sales, business development, or customer-facing experience 2-5 years of leadership or supervisory experience Proven ability to develop business strategies, build relationships, and identify growth opportunities Strong executive-level communication, negotiation, analytical, and leadership skills Experience within the plumbing industry, manufacturing, testing laboratories, product certification, or a related technical industry is highly desirable Ability to work successfully in a remote environment with limited direct supervision Ability to travel up to 15% throughout North America Why IAPMO?
