About the Opportunity This is a portfolio sales role covering two distinct Covelop hospitality properties — The Anderson Paso in Paso Robles and Avila Beach Golf Resort — with potential to expand across the broader Covelop hospitality portfolio. You will be the primary driver of event revenue across both venues, owning the full sales cycle from first inquiry through signed contract, then handing off to the Events Coordinator for execution. About the Properties The Anderson Paso — Paso Robles, CA Perched along historic Anderson Road, The Anderson Paso stands on a property rooted in Paso Robles' winemaking heritage. Reimagined under the vision of the Covelop team, it is a destination where history meets modern elegance — elevated hilltop views, curated food and drink, and a collection of distinctive event spaces. Avila Beach Golf Resort — Avila Beach, CA A premier Central Coast resort and golf destination offering full-service event and banquet facilities, stunning ocean-adjacent setting, and a range of spaces for weddings, corporate events, and social celebrations. What You'll Do Sales & Revenue Generation Respond to all inbound event inquiries across both properties — weddings, corporate events, rehearsal dinners, social celebrations, and buyouts Conduct venue tours and build enthusiasm for each property, matching clients to the right spaces Develop and present customized proposals and contracts Manage the full sales cycle from first inquiry through signed contract, then hand off to the Events Coordinator Proactively prospect for new business: corporate accounts, wedding planners, local businesses, and event agencies Build and maintain relationships with local vendors, event professionals, and community partners across the Central Coast Track leads, pipeline, and booked revenue using the venue's CRM or booking system Strategy & Reporting Meet quarterly revenue targets set at hire; report on pipeline and booked business to leadership Identify opportunities to grow revenue across event types, seasons, and package structures at both properties Provide input on pricing, promotions, and packages based on market feedback Stay current on local market trends, competitor offerings, and industry best practices Client Experience Represent the Covelop brand with professionalism and warmth at all touchpoints Set clear client expectations before handoff to the Events Coordinator Participate in venue events and community activations when relevant to sales goals What We're Looking For 2+ years of event sales, venue sales, or hospitality sales experience Proven track record of meeting or exceeding revenue targets Exceptional communication and relationship-building skills — you genuinely enjoy selling Experience with wedding and/or corporate event sales strongly preferred Organized and comfortable managing a pipeline of active leads across multiple properties Familiarity with CRM or event booking software Knowledge of the Central Coast market and local hospitality industry a plus Flexible availability including some evenings and weekends for tours and events
Compensation & Benefits Base Salary:
