Depends on Experience Alora Pharmaceuticals is a rapidly growing Specialty Pharmaceutical company. We are seeking a Regional Sales Managers (RSMs) with a proven track record of success in leading a diverse and growing sales team. Our focus is to hire leaders who understand how to influence, shape and motivate their respective teams while instilling a growth mindset. In addition, we want to hire a leader whose contributions impact our organization as we strive to impact patients' lives. Experience in specialty pharmaceuticals as well as leading a team through a new product launch is preferred.
Location:
Indiana and Chicago are preferred locations. Main Duties and Responsibilities Directly responsible for hiring, training and developing, as well as, coaching to success the sales team in their region in order to successfully promote the client product to targeted physicians. Responsible for motivating, managing and developing the skill sets and overall performance of the sales representatives in their region. Effectively identify and monitor multiple local market conditions and build and support strong customer relationships while driving product promotion solutions and executing marketing strategies. Monitor field activities to ensure all are within compliance guidelines and provide timely feedback on marketing tactics and market conditions while collaborating closely with leadership, commercial operations, marketing and medical affairs. This is a field-based position. Position Requirements Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university. Minimum of 3 years of field leadership experience in the health sciences industry. Leading a team within the specialty sector with product launch experience is preferred. Experience working with therapeutics that require Pharmacy pull-through distribution is a must. This includes experience working with therapeutics that may require working knowledge of the exceptions and appeals process. Experience coaching sales representatives in pre-call market access planning and message delivery. Knowledge of key commercial and Medicare Part D health plans and understanding of related Avion and competitive product status on their formularies. RSMs will need to be accountable to launch excellence, exceptional coaching and driving the right mindset around execution. Instilling and encouraging a team with a growth mindset is must. Excellent written and oral communication skills as well as the ability to interface with different departments throughout the organization. Advanced interpersonal skills to work with individuals in the delivery of coaching and performance feedback.
