Sales Manager San Carlos, CA | Sales Leadership About Closet Factory For over 40 years, Closet Factory Bay Area has been designing, manufacturing, and installing custom cabinetry and organization systems for homeowners throughout the San Francisco Bay Area. From custom closets and home offices to entertainment centers, pantries, garages, wall units, and more, every project is individually designed and custom-built for our clients. Our established brand, reputation, company-generated opportunities, and partnerships with Costco Wholesale and Lowe's provide a strong foundation for our sales organization. We're looking for an experienced Sales Manager who can build on that foundation—develop our people, strengthen our sales culture, and drive the next level of performance. The Opportunity This is a hands-on leadership role with a clear mandate: develop our sales team and drive the next level of performance. You'll help lead a team of In-Home Sales Designers who manage the client relationship from the initial consultation and design through the sale and installation of their projects. Your job is to help them become exceptional at what they do. You'll coach and develop individual designers, establish clear expectations, create accountability, use performance data to identify opportunities, and build a sales culture where people are motivated to continuously improve. The right person knows how to get results through people. You can recognize what makes a salesperson successful, identify where someone is struggling, and turn those observations into coaching that changes behavior and improves performance. You set high expectations while knowing how to motivate, teach, communicate, and build trust.
