Job Description

Operations Sales Manager KRC Rock is seeking an experienced, hands-on Operations Sales Manager to lead our flagship corporate branch, Commercial Support team, and Inside Commercial Sales department. This position is responsible for developing a high-performing, professional sales culture through training, coaching, commercial account analytics, process improvement, and accountability . The ideal candidate is a strong leader who can develop people while using sales data to identify opportunities and drive measurable results.
Compensation:
$80,000-$90,000 annual base salary, depending on experience, plus the opportunity to earn quarterly performance bonuses of up to $10,000 when established corporate sales and profitability targets are achieved or exceeded. Total compensation will be directly influenced by company performance and the successful growth and development of the teams under this position. Key Responsibilities Lead and develop our flagship retail branch, Commercial Support, and Inside Commercial Sales teams. Provide ongoing product, systems, sales, and customer-service training . Coach employees on sales techniques, customer communication, follow-up, professionalism, and relationship development. Conduct monthly commercial account analytics and reviews to identify: Significant sales increases and decreases Declining and inactive customers Lost business and opportunities to regain it High-potential and underdeveloped accounts Cross-selling and product-category opportunities Margin and purchasing trends requiring attention Turn account analytics into specific action plans and accountability for sales team members. Establish measurable sales goals, activity expectations, and performance standards. Improve quote follow-up, customer retention, new business development, and cross-selling. Reinforce pricing discipline, margin expectations, and professional sales practices. Develop consistent processes that improve accuracy, communication, and customer experience. Identify performance gaps and provide coaching, training, and corrective direction. What We're Looking For Proven experience leading and developing sales or customer-facing teams. Strong analytical skills with the ability to turn sales data into actionable opportunities. Strong sales coaching and training capabilities. Excellent communication, organization, and leadership skills. High standards for professionalism and accountability. Comfortable working in a hands-on, fast-paced environment. Experience in building materials, construction, landscape, masonry, or a related industry preferred. Bilingual English/Spanish preferred. Ensuring your retail staff receives continuous development.
Stronger Identification of Upsell and Cross-Sell Opportunities:
Training teams to maximize ticket sizes through hardscape additions, and premium material upgrades.
Consistent Retail-to-Commercial Handoffs:
Creating a seamless pipeline when retail homeowners transition into large-scale commercial or residential installation leads.
Improved Division Revenue and Gross Margin:
Directly boosting profitability across the retail yard, commercial contract division, and residential design-build sectors. This is a highly visible, hands-on leadership position with the opportunity to directly influence the sales growth, professionalism, and performance of KRC Rock.
Pay:
$75,000.00 - $125,000.00 per year
